Hello,

Demons my second psychological thriller is out now as an e book and paperback at Amazon, Apple, Barnes and Noble and Kobo.

I am delighted to say my books, High Places and Demons are also available to purchase at Goose Green Art Gallery, Altrincham, Cheshire. Where I shall be exhibiting my acrylic artwork until Christmas. Goose Green Art Gallery has been in operation for twelve months and exhibits the works of both established artists past and present and local artists. A welcoming environment run by Gordon Allen whose father was a successful watercolourist artist.

I am excited to tell you that this year I finished two new books entitled, Sarah Jane Raymond, book one and Sarah Jane Raymond book two. ‘A new Life.’ It was initially one very long novel. An editor of a publishing house advised me to split the novel into two books, which I have done.

Unlike my other books which are psychological thrillers, the genre of the Sarah Jane Raymond novels are psychological dramas. Book two a Contemporary, psychological drama as it takes us to the present time, 2021.

I am also nearing the end of High Places book two. I have had great feedback from readers of High Places book one and requests to know what became of Magda Rainford and Rosalind Bartholomew. When I started the book High Places thirty years ago, I never imagined I would be writing a sequel. I have enjoyed revisiting the characters and introducing new ones too.

That is the wonderful thing about life and the lives of characters in fiction, there is no way of knowing what will happen in the future. The ups and downs, change of circumstances, health, I could go on. Although we try our best to hang on to the good bits, sadly, eventually they leave us. Our loved ones, our dogs and cats, our homes and health. As with the saying goes, as with my characters.

‘It isn’t where you start, it’s where you finish.’

Bye for now,

Julie xxx
